Regarding cost estimates for Girls’ softball fields, motion was made by Hanks and seconded by Murphy to request that staff investigate the purchase of property near the Star of the West Softball Complex to see if the owners are interested in selling, and come up with a reasonable dollar amount for purchase of this property; and request that staff review the possible location of softball fields on a southern portion of the Wally Byum property; and report back to the Public Works Committee on January 2nd.
