Resolution No. 2014-097 Declaring Certain Real Property Generally Located Along South Highway 16 and Promise Road Surplus for Purposes of Disposing of Such Property
Summary:
The properties were acquired for purposes of constructing Station 6 for the Rapid City Fire Department.  The fire station only covers a portion of the property and the property is no longer necessary, useful or suitable for municipal purposes.  Requesting the property be declared surplus and disposed of according to state statutes.  Proceeds from the sale would go to CIP and allocated for fire station design.
