A request by City of Rapid City to consider an application for a Final Planned Development Overlay to construct public park amenities for property generally described as being located along Skyline Drive and at the eastern terminus of West Fulton Street.

Staff recommends that the Final Planned Development Overlay to construct public park amenities be approved with stipulations as outlined in the staff report.

 

 

The Rapid City Planning Commission's action on this item is final unless any party appeals that decision to the Rapid City Council.  All appeals must be submitted in writing to the Department of Community Planning & Development Services by close of business on the seventh full calendar day following action by the Planning Commission.

A request by Rumours Inc. - Larry Adams to consider an application for a Major Amendment to a Planned Development to allow an on-sale Liquor establishment in conjunction with a coffee shop for property generally described as being located at 5509 Bendt Drive.

Staff recommends that the Major Amendment to a Planned Development to allow an on-sale Liquor establishment in conjunction with a coffee shop be approved with stipulations as outlined in the staff report.

A request by Dream Design International, Inc. to consider an application for a Rezoning from Low Density Residential I to Low Density Residential II for property generally described as being located south of SD Highway 44 and east of Elk Vale Road.

Staff recommends that the Rezoning from Low Density Residential I to Low Density Residential II be approved.

No. 14OA007 - Ordinance to Amend Rapid City Ordinance 17.22.030 (D) to allow child care centers as a Conditional Use in a Light Industrial District without being associated with another pemitted principal use

A request by Youth and Family Services to consider an application for an Ordinance to Amend Rapid City Ordinance 17.22.030 (D) to allow child care centers as a Conditional Use in a Light Industrial District without being associated with another pemitted principal use.

Staff recommends that the an Ordinance to Amend Rapid City Municipal Code Chapter 17.22.030 (D) to allow child care centers as a Conditional Use in a Light Industrial District without being associated with another pemitted principal use be approved.

A request by AcV2 Architecture, LLC for Travis Jones to consider an application for a Major Amendment to a Planned Development to reduce side yard setbacks for property generally described as being located at 4931 Steamboat Circle.

Staff recommends that the Major Amendment to a Planned Development to reduce side yard setbacks be approved with stipulations as outlined in the staff report.
