A request by Renner and Associates, LLC for Rapid City School District to consider an application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a child care center as an after school care program for property generally described as being located at 4901 West Chicago Street.

Staff recommends that the Conditional Use Permit to allow a child care center as an after school care program be approved with stipulations as outlined in the staff report.

 

 

The Rapid City Planning Commission's action on this item is final unless any party appeals that decision to the Rapid City Council.  All appeals must be submitted in writing to the Department of Community Planning & Development Services by close of business on the seventh full calendar day following action by the Planning Commission.

A request by Fisk Land Surveying and Consulting Engineers, Inc for Pilot Properties, LLC to consider an application for an Initial Planned Development Overlay to allow an apartment complex for property generally described as being located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Bernice and Neel Streets.

Staff recommends that the Initial Planned Development Overlay to allow an apartment complex be approved with stipulations as outlined in the staff report.

A request by Fisk Land Surveying and Consulting Engineers, Inc for Black Hills Habitat for Humanity to consider an application for an Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation from Public to Residential for property generally described as being located at 925 Dilger Avenue.


Staff recommends that the Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation from Public to Residential be approved.

5.

No. 13RZ028 - North Rapid Addition No. 2

A request by Fisk Land Surveying and Consulting Engineers, Inc for Black Hills Habitat for Humanity to consider an application for a Rezoning from Public District to Medium Density Residential District for property generally described as being located at 925 Dilger Avenue.

Staff recommends that the Rezoning from Public District to Medium Density Residential District be approved in conjunction with the associated Comprehensive Plan Amendment.

A request by Renner and Associates, LLC for Midland Atlantic to consider an application for a Final Planned Development to allow a commercial development property generally described as being located at 1325 and 1329 Eglin Street.

A request by FMG Inc for Northwestern Engineering Company to consider an application for a Final Planned Development Overlay to allow for the expansion of an existing mobile home park for property generally described as being located south of East Anamosa Street and north of the railroad tracks.

Staff recommends that the Final Planned Development Overlay to allow for the expansion of an existing mobile home parkbe continued to the January 9, 2014 Planning Commission meeting at the applicant’s request.
