Summary:

Yasmeen Dream, LLC has requested an oversize reimbursement for additional lanes to be constructed on Elderberry Boulevard as part of the Orchard Meadows Subdivision Improvements. Per City Council direction at the April 7, 2014 City Council meeting, City Staff has worked with the petitioner to draft an oversize agreement.

Recommendation:

Action: Choose an item. Deny

Notes: City Staff has reviewed the request and recommends the request be denied as the improvements on Elderberry Boulevard do not serve large areas of land not in the subdivision. In addition, the Traffic Impact Analysis done as part of this subdivision identifies the additional lanes are necessary for traffic generated by this development. The road is classified as a commercial street and provides internal access to the Orchard Meadows Subdivision and is not identified on the Major Street Plan as an arterial road that serves adjacent or adjoining parcels.
