Summary:
The Socio-Economic Report tracks new development in the Rapid City area based on Rapid City, Box Elder, Pennington County, and Meade County building permits. The categories tracked are Single Family, Multi-Family, Retail, Office/Service, Industrial, and Public. The highest Single Family and Multi-Family growth occurred in the Ellsworth Neighborhood Area, the highest retail growth occurred in the North Rapid Neighborhood Area; the highest office/service growth occurred in the U.S. Highway 16 Neighborhood Area, the highest Industrial growth occurred in the Southeast Connector Neighborhood Area, and the highest Public growth occurred in the Downtown/Skyline Neighborhood Area.
