A request by James Bialota to consider an application for a Fence Height Exception to allow a six foot high fence in lieu of a four foot high fence in the front yard setback for Lot 2 of Block 10 of Knollwood Heights Subdivision No. 2 located in Section 30, T2N, R8E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located at 1502 Downing Street.


STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Fence Height Exception to allow a six foot high fence in lieu of a four foot high fence in the front yard setback be approved with the following stipulation:

1.

The fence shall be redesigned or relocated as shown and noted on the applicant’s revised site plan to ensure the fence is located outside of the public right-of-way and any pedestrian sight triangles.
