The applicant has submitted a request to allow an animal kennel as a conditional use on approximately 1.67 acres of property located in the Light Industrial District. The applicant has indicated that the dog kennel, known as the “Animal Psychology Center”, is located in an 1,800 square foot suite within an existing industrial building located on the property. The Planning Commission continued the item to the September 26, 2013 Planning Commission meeting to allow the applicant to submit an operations plan which specifically and accurately describes the operation of the facility and to address the mitigation of any nuisances related to the proposed use. |
