Agenda Title:
Authorize staff to purchase one (1) RAM 1500 crew cab truck in the amount of $26,174 using state bid contract #16674.
Summary:
The purchase will be a replacement for Car 2, a 2000 Dodge Durango.  Purchase will be from Billion Auto as a local match to State Bid Contract #16674.  Total price is $26,174. This purchase was approved by Council in August in the amount of $23.340, however, when we went to purchase the vehicle the 2014 models were no longer available.  The 2015 model is $2,834 more than the 2014. We are requesting approval to purchase the 2015 model with the increased cost of $2,834.
