Council Approval for Mayor to sign a Local Government Certification by the Chief Executive Officer Approving Cornerstone Rescue Mission’s Request for Emergency Shelter Grant Funds for the operation of both the Cornerstone Women and Children’s Shelter and Cornerstone Rescue Mission.
Summary:
Cornerstone Rescue Mission is requesting City Council support of their application for Emergency Shelter Grant funds from South Dakota Housing Development Authority.  Attached please find a copy of the Local Government Certification by the Chief Executive Officer form for Cornerstone Rescue Mission’s Men's Shelter. Cornerstone Rescue Mission has submitted an application to South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) for Emergency Shelter Grant Funds for the operation of the Women and Children’s Shelter and the Cornerstone Rescue Mission.  South Dakota Housing Development Authority requires confirmation of support for projects from the local governing body.
