Summary:
This ordinance reduces the number of Historic Preservation Commission members to 7 with two alternates; the current ordinance provides for ten HPC members with no alternates.  The ordinance change also addresses removal of an HPC member for cause and eliminates the provision that provides that a HPC seat is rendered vacant if the member is absent for three consecutive meetings.
