Introduction and First Reading of Ordinance No. 5920 to Amend the Term and Fees for Taxicab Licenses by Amending Sections 5.60.070, 5.60.140, and 5.60.150 of the Rapid City Municipal Code
Summary:
This ordinance will change the term of taxicab business and driver licenses from 1 year to 2 years.  As a result, licensees will only have to be fingerprinted, have a records check, and pay the associated fees every other year.  The license fees are also changed to reflect the extended term.
