No. 06OA003 - Ordinance Amendment

A request by City of Rapid City to consider an application for an Ordinance Amendment to Chapter 16.16.090 of the Rapid City Municipal Code to require that sidewalks for subdivisions be constructed at the time a building permit is obtained.

PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED:

Planning Commission recommended approval with the additional recommendation that the City Council adopt a policy to require that at the time of the two year warranty inspection, the staff shall review the status of the sidewalk installation and provide a report ot the City Council for consideration of action to order in sidewalks.

VOTE: (7 to 0 with Anderson, Andrews, Brewer, Brown, Hennies, Landguth, and Waltman voting yes and none voting no)
