The Rapid City Beautification Committee unanimously recommended that the Mayor and Finance Officer be authorized to execute the Relocation Assistance Agreement with the South Dakota Department of Transportation and request reimbursement of actual, reasonable and necessary cost to move and relocate the U.S. Highway 79 South "Welcome to Rapid City" sign as supported by receipted bills and to recommend that the City Attorney prepare language to insert into the agreement allowing for site selection for the sign relocation to occur after completion of the construction of the Southeast Connector.
