RE:        Fences and Retaining Walls

This memo is to inform you that the Planning Commission has authorized Staff to advertise changes to City Code regarding Fences and Retaining Walls Option #2 (attached). As noted in the accompanying information, this Ordinance change would result in fences being able to be constructed directly on top of retaining walls which is currently not allowed by City Code.

Staff is providing this issue to you as an informational item at this time. Formal action will be requested at a later date after the Ordinance has been advertised.
