Staff is seeking City Council approval of, and authorization for the Mayor and Finance Officer to sign one original copy of the Indenture of Restrictive Covenants and two copies of the FY 2015 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) contract for Cornerstone Rescue Mission.
CDBG funds will be used to remodel the public bathrooms in the basement of the building to become handicap accessible by moving cinder block walls and move and replace the existing janitor’s closet and a small portion of the dining room and HVAC duct installation.
Funding allocation for this project was previously approved by the City Council at the December 7, 2015 City Council meeting.
