Summary:
The agreement before you is for services for fiscal year 2016 to be provided by The Humane Society of the Black Hills, Inc. (the “Society”) for shelter and animal control services. The Council approved a $278,318.00 appropriation to the Society for FY2016 when it passed the second reading of the 2016 budget ordinance. This agreement memorializes the services the Society will continue to provide next year in exchange for the City’s budgeted 2016 appropriation to the Society.
