15RZ015 - Rezoning from No Use District to Low Density Residential District I

Summary:

The City is requesting to rezone approximately 1.0 acres of property from No Use District to Low Density Residential District I.  The property is located on North Elk Vale Road approximately 1.25 miles north of I-90. The proposed rezone is a direct result of the associated annexation petition (15AN001). The property is currently zoned General Commercial in Pennington County and is used for a single family residence. The comprehensive plan identifies the area as Agriculture. Agriculture supports the use of low density single family residences. The applicant intends to continue the single family residential use on the property.    The comprehensive plan supports the proposed rezoning.
