Summary: |

|
This ordinance amends Ordinance 6017 adopting the 2012 International Building Code, approved by the Council in November 2014. Local engineers identified some necessary changes to the climatic table to ensure that structures designed and built in accordance with the IBC are suitable for the climatic conditions of Rapid City. The Building Board of Appeals unanimously recommended approval of Ordinance 6042 at its meeting on March 10, 2015. |
