Summary: |

|
Building Services is unaware of a single use of the International Existing Building Code (IEBC) since it was adopted by the City. The IEBC is a companion to the International Building Code (IBC), and it is referenced in Title 34 of the 2012 IBC, which has been adopted by the City. This means that even if the IEBC is repealed through adoption of this ordinance, residents may still use the IEBC as an alternative to the International Building Code. The Building Board of Appeals unanimously recommended approval of Ordinance 6041 at its meeting on March 10, 2015. |
