This ordinance is the companion to the resolution changing the name of Rapid Street between Third and Fifth Streets to Nikko Street, in honor of our sister city, Nikko City, Japan. Previously, Rapid Street between Sixth Street and Mt. Rushmore Road was changed to Apolda Street, in honor of our other sister city, Apolda, Germany. This amendment simply makes the corresponding name changes throughout the Rapid City Municipal Code. |

Two Street signs would have to be corrected by the City Sign Shop between 3rd and 5th Streets. The street signs are already changed at Apolda Street. |
