Request from Police Department to increase FTE count by 1 additional police officer in 2015 utilizing previously approved funding for 2015 COPS Hiring Grant
Summary:
The RCPD was previously approved to seek funding for 4 additional officers via the COPS Hiring Grant with the city being responsible for 25% of the cost.  Unfortunately the grant was not received. The RCPD requests funding 1 additional officer, with no change in the net cost to the 2015 budget.
