Staff is seeking City Council approval of, and authorization for the Mayor and Finance Officer to sign 2 original copies of the Indenture of Restrictive Covenants and FY 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) contract for Western Resources for dis-Abled Independence.
CDBG funds will be used for installation of a wheelchair accessible roll-in shower, to replace 11 existing toilets with Americans with Disabilities Act accessible toilets, and the removal of 3 bedrooms to enlarge the existing dining area.
Funding allocation for this project was previously approved by the City Council in the FY 2014 CDBG Annual Action Plan.
