Agenda Title:

Authorize the Mayor and Finance Officer to Sign a Vacation of Right-of-Way Application and Petition to Vacate a 30 foot wide right-of-way from Renner and Associates, LLC for VSADD Holdings, LLC for the property located along the north lot line of Lot 5, Block 2, Rapid River Subdivision, Section 3, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, SD, more generally described as 2020 Jackson Boulevard.

Summary:

VSADD Holdings, LLC, the owner of the commercial property at 2020 Jackson Boulevard has made a request to the City to vacate a portion of the alley right-of-way adjacent to the north side of their property such that they can provide additional parking for the uses on the property.  The City also owns properties adjacent to the proposed vacation. When the right-of-way is vacated all of the vacated right-of-way will go back to the property owned by VSADD Holdings, LLC. This right-of-way is not built out as a street, nor does it contain any City Utilities. In order for VSADD Holdings. LLC to submit a right-of-way vacation application, all adjacent property owners must sign the application.
