The Recreational Trails Program (RTP) provides communities across the State an opportunity to compete for grant funds to assist in providing and maintaining recreational trails for both motorized and non-motorized use. The City of Rapid City is looking to secure additional funds for the Skyline Wilderness Park Trail System. |

Action: Approve Notes: Staff requests authorization to submit and sign the application for the FY2014 Recreational Trail Program Grant and authorize the Mayor and Finance Officer to accept the grant if awarded, with the total project costs in the amount of $300,000, allowing minor language and cost adjustments to the applications to reflect suggestions from the State Parks after the mandatory site review. |
