Dakota Housing Development Authority for HOME Funds.

Summary:

Black Hills
Area Habitat for Humanity is requesting City Council support for their
application to South Dakota Housing Development Association for HOME funds
for development of housing on property located at 140 Doolittle St. for a
household making less than 60% of the area median income. The application
requires acknowledgment and support of the project from the local governing
body, in this case, the City Council.
This
project will meet a high priority goal of our HUD five-year Consolidated Plan,
providing affordable apartments for very low income households.

South Dakota Housing Development HOME funds that will allow them to leverage
other non-city dollars for the project.
