Approve the Procedures for Design-Build Procurement of Public Improvement Projects (Best Value Process)
Summary:
In order to solicit a single bid for both design and construction of public improvement projects, municipalities have to first adopt procedures which comply with several state law provisions concerning the solicitation and award of design-build contracts.  These Procedures were drafted to meet the statutory requirements and to provide a workable procedure for the City to use when design-build contracts are desirable.
