Summary: |

GWH Properties previously came before the Council to appeal the denial of an exception to the Infrastructure Design Criteria Manual’s requirement for additional easement dedication along Minnesota Street in conjunction with the platting of the property. A link to the agenda summary from the 12/16 Council meeting is provided below. GWH is willing to dedicate the additional 10 foot easement for pedestrians and utilities in exchange for the ability to utilize the easement area for on-premises signage and lighting. The covenant agreement allows GWH to utilize the easement area for those purposes until widening of Minnesota Street requires the extra space for utilities that the easement provides. At the time the space is needed by a public works project, the signs and/or lighting are required to be removed. |
