Summary:
Under the current Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, all new pedestrian signals must be countdown signals. As a result of new construction and replacement of crash damaged equipment, the City has a mix of non-countdown and countdown signals. This project will convert all pedestrian signals to countdown signals and will provide a more consistent pedestrian environment.
