Agenda Title:

13TP051 – Authorize staff to advertise a Request for Proposals for a Long Range Transportation Plan Origin and Destination Study in an amount not to exceed $75,000.

Summary:

The Long Range Transportation Plan Origin and Destination Study will gather information on the travel behavior of people who make interregional trips. This information will be used to update and calibrate the Travel Demand Model for the Rapid City Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.  The Travel Demand Model is used for determining the location of future roads and necessary road improvements as well as to identify route alternatives to help reduce potential congestion in the region.

Federal Amount 81.95%	$61,462.50
Local Match 18.05%	$13,537.50
Total Cost	$75,000.00
