Approve Policy on Placement of Items in the Public Park System
Summary:
Due to the increase in the number of requests to place memorial and public service items in the park system, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommended changes to the policy that would stipulate when items would be allowed. The Policy has been submitted to the Public Works and Community Planning Offices for input, and changes recommended by the City Attorney’s Office have been incorporated into the final document.
