|
Pursuant to a recent change in state law, the SD Dept of Health annually considers the need for additional nursing home beds. This year, the DOH has determined there is a need for 20 new skilled nursing beds in Rapid City. The DOH has issued a request for proposals to solicit proposals from long term care providers to fill this need. One of the requirements for proposals is to show local community support. The Good Samaritan Society is submitting a proposal, and has asked for the City’s approval of its application. The deadline for proposals is July 8. |
