Staff requests that the regulations in Section 17.50.340 entitles “Gasoline Service Stations” be repealed for the following reasons: The ordinance is outdated and difficult to apply to newly-constructed gasoline service stations; and the regulations are redundant to the requirements found in the Infrastructure Design Criteria Manual and the regulations found elsewhere in Title 17; and the Infrastructure Design Criteria Manual address setbacks from right of way, from residential districts, and from intersections; and the regulations found elsewhere in Title 17 and in the Infrastructure Design Criteria Manual address curbs, curb openings, and screening of gasoline service stations. |
