Summary: |

|
This ordinance will change the term of pawnbroker and secondhand dealer licenses from 1 year to 2 years. As a result, licensees will only have to be fingerprinted, have a records check, and pay the associated fees every other year. The license fees are also changed to reflect the extended term. Amended ordinance strikes “annual” from the fee language. |
