Chapel Valley Access Traffic Analysis and Route Alignment Study

PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:

Public Works Committee acknowledged the report and recommended that the Mayor appoint the Emergency Management Planning Task Force.

PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:

Planning Commission recommended that the Council implement the Emergency Management Planning Task Force with local community involvement as described in alternative O.

VOTE: (9 to 0 with Brewer, Christianson, Gregg, Kinniburgh, Landguth, Marchand, Popp, Rippentrop and Wyss voting yes and none voting no)

 

Planning Commission recommended that the Council explore the possibility of long range improvements on the existing bridge if needed in lieu of a second access.

VOTE: (5 to 4 with Christianson, Marchand, Landguth, Brewer and Popp voting yes and Kinniburgh, Rippentrop, Gregg, Wyss voting no)
