No. 10SE005 - Rapid City Greenway Tract

A request by Dixie Holy Eagle for Great Plains Okolakiciye to consider an application for a Special Exception to the Flood Area Construction Regulations on Tract 20 less H1 of Rapid City Greenway Tract, Section 36, T2N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located at Memorial Park north of Omaha Street between North Mt. Rushmore Road and Fifth Street.

PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Special Exception to the Flood Area Construction Regulations be approved with the following stipulations:

1.

That the event will be stopped and the structures removed if ordered by the Police Chief, Fire Chief, Mayor, Emergency Management Director, or the Public Works Director;

2.

That the structures for the event be removed that evening after the event has ceased;

3.

That contact information and telephone numbers for the event staff during the event shall be provided to the Police Chief, Fire Chief, Mayor, Emergency Management Director, or the Public Works director; and,

4.

That no overnight camping will be permitted.
