No. 09FV007 - Vista Lake Subdivision No. 2

A request by Site Dynamics, Inc. for SWS, LLC to consider an application for a Fence Height Exception to allow a 9 foot high fence in lieu of a six foot high fence in a Office Commercial Zoning District on Lot 1, Vista Lake Subdivision No. 2, Section 8, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located at 4616 Jackson Boulevard.


PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
The Public Works Committee forwarded the Fence Height exception to allow a 9 foot high fence in lieu of a 6 foot high fence in a Office Commercial Zoning District to City Council without recommendation.


STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Fence Height exception to allow a 9 foot high fence in lieu of a 6 foot high fence in a Office Commercial Zoning District be approved with the following stipulation:

The fence shall be constructed in conformance with the architectural plans and elevations and color palette submitted as part of this Fence Height Exception.
