A request by FMG, Inc. for Northwestern Engineering to consider an application for an Amendment to the Adopted Comprehensive Plan to revise the Major Street Plan by relocating a proposed minor arterial street in the N1/2 and SW1/4, Section 33, T2N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located east and west of Sturgis Road and north of West Chicago Street.


PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
The Public Works Committee recommended that the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to the Major Street Plan by relocating a proposed minor arterial street be approved with the following stipulation:

1.

That the legal description be revised to reflect the description as follows: the NW1/4 and the W1/2 of the NE1/4 and the NE1/4 of the NE1/4, all located in Section 33, Township 2 North, Range 7 East, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota.

PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to the Major Street Plan by relocating a proposed minor arterial street be approved with the following stipulation:

That the legal description be revised to reflect the description as follows: the NW1/4 and the W1/2 of the NE1/4 and the NE1/4 of the NE1/4, all located in Section 33, Township 2 North, Range 7 East, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota.
