A request by FMG, Inc. for Good Samaritan Society to consider an application for an Amendment to the Adopted Comprehensive Plan to revise the Major Street Plan by eliminating collector streets on Sections 29 and 30, T2N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located west of S.D. Highway 79 (Sturgis Road) and south of Hidden Valley Road.


PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Amendment to the Adopted Comprehensive Plan to revise the Major Street Plan by eliminating collector streets be continued to the November 5, 2007 City Council meeting to allow the applicant to submit a revised Traffic Impact Study to coordinate the phasing of the project with the proposed street improvements.
