A request by Dream Design International, Inc. to consider an application for a Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to waive the requirement to install curb, gutter, sidewalk, street light conduit; to reduce pavement width from 22 feet to 12 feet; and the right-of-way width from 47 feet to 12 feet as per Chapter 16.16 of the Rapid City Municipal Code on Tract A, Wright Subdivision, located in the N1/2 SW1/4, SE1/4 NE1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4, SE1/4 NE1/4, Section 15, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, legally described as the unplatted portion of the N1/2 SW1/4, SE1/4 NE1/4 SW1/4 SW1/4, SE1/4 NE1/4, Section 15, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located north and west of Skyline Ranch Road.


PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Planning Commission acknowledge the applicant’s request to withdraw the Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to reduce the right-of-way width from 47 feet to 12 feet;

That the Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to waive the requirement to install curb, gutter, sidewalk, street light conduit and sewer be approved;

That the Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to reduce the pavement width from 22 feet to 12 feet along the access street be denied.
