A request by City of Rapid City to consider an application for a Fence Height Exception to allow a 25 foot high fence in lieu of six foot high fence in the public zoning district on Lot 2, Block 11, Robbinsdale Addition No. 10, Section 13, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located at the Parkview Softball complex.


PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
Public Works Committee recommended that the Fence Height Exception to allow an 25 foot high fence in lieu of a six foot high fence be approved with stipulation.

 

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommended that the Fence Height Exception to allow an 25 foot high fence in lieu of a six foot high fence be approved with the following stipulation:

A building permit shall be obtained for all fences over 6 feet in height.
