No. 05RZ029 - Northside Addition

A request by Marty Jacob for MBJ Company, Inc. to consider an application for a Rezoning from Medium Density Residential District to Light Industrial District on Lots 1 thru 8 inclusive and Lots 21 thru 28 inclusive in Block 7 and Lots 1 thru 7 inclusive in Block 12; all located in Northside Addition, NW1/4 Section 31, T2N, R8E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located at 826 East Monroe Street.


PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Rezoning from Medium Density Residential District to Light Industrial District be approved in conjunction with the associated Comprehensive Plan Amendment (05CA019) and with a statement on the record that as part of the Conditional Use Permit, the existing fence blocking Monroe Street be removed or that portion of Monroe Street lying east of the fence be vacated and the necessary street improvements to Monroe Street be constructed or a Variance to the Subdivision Regulations be approved.

VOTE: (6 to 2 with Anderson, Andrews, Brown, Hadcock, LeMay , and Prairie Chicken voting yes and Nash and Fast Wolf, voting no)
