Staff recommends that the Major Amendment to an On-sale Liquor Conditional Use Permit to expand the use of the property to allow Auto Sales and Display be approved with stipulations as outllined in the staff report.

 

 

The Rapid City Planning Commission's action on this item is final unless any party appeals that decision to the Rapid City Council.  All appeals must be submitted in writing to the Department of Community Planning & Development Services by close of business on the seventh full calendar day following action by the Planning Commission.

A request by James Letner for Thomas Letner to consider an application for a Initial Planned Development Overlay to allow the Construction of a Multi-Family Development for property generally described as being located northwest of the intersection of Catron Boulevard and Wellington Drive.

Staff recommends that the Initial Planned Development Overlay to allow the Construction of a Multi-Family Development be approved with stipulations as outlined in the staff report.

 

The Rapid City Planning Commission's action on this item is final unless any party appeals that decision to the Rapid City Council.  All appeals must be submitted in writing to the Department of Community Planning & Development Services by close of business on the seventh full calendar day following action by the Planning Commission.

Staff is requesting approval of the Request for Proposals and a volunteer from the Planning Commission to serve on the Comprehensive Plan steering committee.

Mt. Rushmore Road Overlay

Staff is requesting that the Planning Commission appoint a steering committee comprised of representatives from the Mt. Rushmore Road Group, West Boulevard Neighborhood Association, Scenic Rapid City, Historic Preservation Commission, Planning Commission, and Council and direct staff to move forward with drafting the proposed overlay district.
