No. 12PL050 - Rushmore Crossing

A request by Arleth & Associates for CPP Rushmore, LLC to consider an application for a Preliminary Subdivision Plan for property more generally described as being located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Eglin Street and East North Street.

Staff recommends that the Preliminary Subdivision Plan be approved with the stipulations outlined in the staff report.

 

3.

No. 12AN004 - Sections 26 and 27, T1N, R7E

A request by Highway 16 Properties, LLC to consider an application for a Petition for Annexation for property more generally described as being located at 7001 South Highway 16.

Staff recommends that the Petition for Annexation be approved contingent on any payment due to the Whispering Pines Fire Protection District being made by the City of Rapid City and removal of the two abandoned on-premise signs.

No. 12RZ017 - Section 26, T2N, R7E

A request by Fisk Land Surveying & Consulting Engineers for Bailey Associates, Inc. to consider an application for a Rezoning from Medium Density Residential District to General Agriculture District for property more generally described as being located east of the current terminus of Commerce Road.

Staff recommends that the Rezoning from Medium Density Residential District to General Agriculture District be approved.

No: 12TP018 – 2013 Draft Unified Planning Work Program for the Rapid City Area Metropolitan Planning Organization

Staff recommends approval of the 2013 Unified Planning Work Program Draft.

A request by City of Rapid City to consider an application for a Conditional Use Permit to allow structures for the Memorial Park Promenade in the Flood Hazard District for property more generally described as being located north of Omaha Street between North Mount Rushmore Road and Fifth Street in Memorial Park.

Staff recommends that the Conditional Use Permit to allow structures for the Memorial Park Promenade in the Flood Hazard District be approved with the stipulations outlined in the staff report.

 

 

The Rapid City Planning Commission's action on this item is final unless any party appeals that decision to the Rapid City Council.  All appeals must be submitted in writing to the Department of Community Planning & Development Services by close of business on the seventh full calendar day following action by the Planning Commission.

A request by Pure Bliss, LLC dba A Perfect 10 to consider an application for a Major Amendment to a Planned Development to allow an on-sale liquor establishment in conjunction with a beauty salon for property more generally described as being located at 36 East Stumer Road, Suite 118.

Staff recommends that the Major Amendment to a Planned Development to allow an on-sale liquor establishment in conjunction with a beauty salon be approved with the stipulations outlined in the staff report.
