Staff recommends that the Layout Plat be continued to the March 9, 2006 Planning Commission meeting to allow the applicant to submit additional information.

A request by Hermanson Egge Engineering for City of Rapid City School District to consider an application for an 11-6-19 SDCL Review to allow the demolition of the existing General Beadle School and to construct a new school on School Lot 582 feet by 680 feet of Block 12 of Millard Addition of Section 36, T2N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located at 10 Van Buren Street.

Staff recommends that the 11-6-19 SDCL Review to allow the demolition of the existing school and to construct a new elementry school with other public uses including a medical/dental clinic, library and a gymnasium be approved.

Staff recommends that the 11-6-19 SDCL Review to allow the installation of a sign on public property be approved with stipulations.
