RCFD and Parks Department request approval of the contract agreement between the City of Rapid City and NRG Consulting LLC for the Skyline HRF project.

Click here to enter text.The proposed project will reduce the potential for loss of life and property by reducing the amount of vegetative fuels within the Skyline Wilderness Area at large and directly adjacent to private property.  The present fuel loading in this area is conducive of large fire development.
Funding Source & Fiscal Impact (if applicable):
Western States Fire Managers Grants 50% match.  Hard match and In-kind match from Rapid City through RCFD and Parks Dept. Urban Interface Management Plan forestry budget.
