Resolution No. 2013-105 to Establish Procedures for the Solicitation and Award of Construction Management Services Contracts
Summary:
The attached Resolution is to establish procedures for soliciting and selecting contractors for construction management services.  These procedures supplement the established consultant selection process, and they would be applicable for those projects where the City desires to utilize a construction manager at risk.  Similar procedures have been used in the past, but were project specific.  This would be a ‘generic’ set of procedures that would govern all projects from this point forward.  Specific changes or specific procedures for a specific project would still be allowed, but would not be necessary each time a project desires to use the construction manager at risk arrangement.
