MOU Between City of Rapid City and AFSCME Council No. 59 Local #1031                            Snow Season: On-Call – Alert Standby Procedure – Airport Personnel Only
Summary:
The current AFSCME contract does not adequately address procedures for placing employees on standby in preparation for anticipated snow events.  The purpose of this MOU is to establish procedures and compensation for placing AFSCME employees on an alert status for anticipated snow events.  If approved, this MOU will be in effect for the remainder of the current contract and the language has also been included in the draft AFSCME 2014 Union Contract.
Funding Source & Fiscal Impact (if applicable):
Although this change is not expected to have a fiscal impact, all compensation associated with this MOU will be paid by the Airport Enterprise Fund.
