It is anticipated the City of Rapid City’s Water Reclamation Facility will need to meet more stringent permit discharge standards over the next 20 years. Also, portions of the facility are 30 to 50 years old, are reaching the end of their useful life and will not be able to provide the treatment capacity necessary to meet anticipated future permit discharge standards. This Facility Plan provides the City of Rapid City with a road map for future operation and improvements at the Water Reclamation Facility to meet these anticipated requirements. |
