Approve request from Austin Konold and Colleen VanderMay to authorize serving and consumption of alcohol (not sale) at their wedding dinner on property owned by the City at the location immediately east of Canyon Lake Resort on June 4, 2016 from 5:00 PM to Midnight.
Summary:
City Ordinance 5.12.080, Sub-section D allows for city approval of serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages in certain situations on city property. The petitioners have obtained the necessary permits for their event including a Special Event Permit from the Parks and Recreation Department as well as a Conditional Use Permit, a Floodplain Development Permit, and a Temporary Use Permit.
